Freddie wants to see technical innovations at SKYDD

Freddie Parrman entered the security industry over 20 years ago and has been around ever since. He looks forward to networking at SKYDD and seeing more of the technological developments that have taken place in the industry.

Freddie Parrman is CEO at Seriline, which works with identity and access management. During his years in the industry, Freddie has seen the industry develop and change a lot. Today, there is a big focus on technology and even though he believes that it is sometimes slow, he believes that it is positive. Development within the industry needs to be stable, while at the same time it needs to be innovative.

Even if you think the security industry isn't moving that fast, I don't think you'd want it to either. It needs to be stable, but of course more innovation is needed and that is where we are going forward. Everything from connecting things to taking care of identity management.

Due to the pandemic, it has been four years since the fair was last held. Freddie is looking forward to seeing what innovations have arisen during this time and he believes that a lot has happened on the technology side. For many companies, the security issue has sailed up the agenda, both during the pandemic and with today's world situation. As working life becomes increasingly flexible, it becomes even more important to create a safe environment for employees, regardless of where they are.

Situations like the pandemic create creativity. Our target group is decentralized organizations so where you sit is not as important, but we had to make a lot of adjustments on the asset management side when the employees started taking the technology home with them.

Seriline has recently raised capital to start its acquisition journey. During the spring, they bought up Areff Systems and at the same time notified Seriline's main owner FSN Capital that they have their sights set on an IPO. They are not alone in acquiring companies, it is a trend that he sees in many parts of the industry. Therefore, he thinks it feels extra important to meet and see what has happened since the last time. Freddie looks forward to networking with partners, customers and industry colleagues at the show.

Now it's been quite a while since we had the fair, what I'm really looking forward to is being able to network again. SKYDD has the best turnout in the security industry, so the fair is extremely important. We and many others have been working hard during this time, so it will be very exciting to see what everyone shows off at the fair.
